Carbon & Sustainability — Biochar, MRV & Carbon Markets | Agritech Advisory
SERVICES · CARBON & SUSTAINABILITY

Turning waste into wealth. Turning soil into a sink.

End-to-end carbon project structuring, with biochar at the centre and MRV-grade rigour throughout.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Biomass and Carbon markets.

India generates roughly five hundred to five hundred and fifty million tonnes of crop residue every year. A significant fraction is burnt, contributing to severe air pollution and the destruction of soil carbon.

The opening of the Indian carbon market to agriculture has changed the economics. Biochar, regenerative agriculture, methane reduction in rice systems and natural farming are now bankable activities. We help convert that opportunity into structured, verified, sellable carbon.

OUR BIOCHAR FOCUS

Science & Agronomic benefits.

Biochar is a stable, carbon-rich solid produced through the pyrolysis of organic biomass at temperatures between 300 and 700 degrees Celsius in a low-oxygen environment.

Its agronomic benefits are well established: improved water retention by up to eighteen per cent, enhanced cation-exchange capacity by up to fifty per cent, and a reduction in urea consumption of up to one-third while improving crop yield.

Biochar locks carbon in the soil for hundreds to thousands of years, qualifying as one of the few credible durable-removal pathways.

What We Deliver

GOVERNING PRINCIPLE

The Discipline of Additionality

We will not advise on a carbon project whose additionality cannot be demonstrated. The requirement that the carbon outcome would not have occurred without the project is the foundation of credible carbon markets.

Our protocols are designed to make additionality auditable in the field, in the satellite record, and in the supply chain.

ECONOMICS

Indicative project economics.
